How to request deletion of your personal data from Base Stack

Important Notice

Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have downloaded any data you wish to keep before proceeding with deletion.

What Data We Store

Base Stack stores the following types of personal data about you:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile information
  • Authentication Data: Login credentials and social media account connections
  • Application Data: Your todo lists, tasks, and any content you create
  • Usage Data: How you interact with our application (logs, analytics)
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser information, and device identifiers

Your Data Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have the right to:

Download a copy of all your personal data in a machine-readable format

Data Deletion

Request complete deletion of your personal data from our systems

Data Deletion Methods

Method 1: Self-Service Account Deletion (Recommended)

Fastest Method

Delete your account and all associated data immediately through the application.

  1. 1. Log into your Base Stack account
  2. 2. Go to Account Settings or Profile
  3. 3. Look for "Delete Account" or "Data Deletion" option
  4. 4. Follow the confirmation steps
  5. 5. Your data will be deleted within 24 hours

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:

Send an email to: privacy@khronos.io

Include the following information in your email:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Email]"
  • Your full name as registered in the account
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Reason for deletion (optional)
  • Confirmation statement: "I request complete deletion of my personal data"

Method 3: Social Media Platform Request

If you signed up using Facebook, Google, or another social media platform, you can also request data deletion through their platforms:

  • Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Base Stack → Remove
  • Google: Go to Google Account → Data & Privacy → Third-party apps → Base Stack → Delete

Note: This will revoke access but you should still contact us directly to ensure complete data deletion.

What Happens When You Request Deletion

Immediate Actions (Within 24 hours)

  • • Your account is deactivated and login is disabled
  • • Your profile becomes inaccessible to other users
  • • We send you a confirmation email

Data Deletion (Within 30 days)

  • • All your todo lists and tasks are permanently deleted
  • • Your account information is removed from our database
  • • Authentication tokens are revoked and deleted
  • • Cached data is purged from our systems

Complete Process (Within 90 days)

  • • Backup copies are identified and deleted
  • • Log files containing your data are purged
  • • Third-party service providers are notified to delete your data
  • • Final confirmation email is sent

Data We Cannot Delete

Some data may be retained for legal or security reasons:

  • Legal Requirements: Data required by law to be retained (tax records, etc.)
  • Security Logs: Anonymized security logs for fraud prevention (personal identifiers removed)
  • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
  • Financial Records: Transaction records if you had paid services (anonymized after required period)

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletions, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may involve:

  • Confirming your email address
  • Asking security questions about your account
  • Requesting additional identification for high-value accounts

Timeline and Confirmation

Expected Timeline:

  • Email requests: Processed within 72 hours
  • Account deactivation: Within 24 hours
  • Complete data deletion: Within 30 days
  • Confirmation email: Sent once deletion is complete

Final Reminder
